Healthy Isn’t Just A Trend

0%
of consumers claim that nutritional value is the most important factor in the foods they eat.

  • Our systems use whole beans that are ground perfectly for every cup.  The “environmentally friendly coffee puck”  that is the residue is completely bio- degradable and the energy used to produce our beverage is far less than most office microwaves.

Why we Win over other Business Coffee Programs:

‘Pour Over’ Bunn: Cold water in the top of the machine where it is warmed by a heating element before dripping down through a basket of coffee into a jug below, which is kept warm by a hot plate. You can use any ground coffee.

    • Lacks consistency in taste, most use tap water, often not properly cleaned, leading to residue and increased bitter taste. Most companies will use cheaper ground coffees, supplied by vendor or purchased in bulk. Storage is an issue, takes up space with packaged or tin coffees and supplies; No specialty coffee.

Pod or capsule coffee machines: The coffee is in a pre-packaged capsule which you place into the machine. When you press a button the pod is pierced and hot water is sent through into a waiting mug. These are typically easy to clean and can be quite good tasting but are generally limited to the type of capsule or pod sold by your machine manufacturer.

    • Very expensive cost per cup, not bio-degradable adding to land fill, difficult to make speciality coffees, artificial flavors, uses freeze dried process , one pod is not usually adaptable for other manufacturers systems. Though business believes that it is more convenient and comparable in price for sophisticated systems such as the JBC Collection – theft of pods is a growing concern and can double or triple the cost for a beverage when the month end consumption figures are calculated

Pump espresso maker These use a thermostatically controlled boiler which heats the water to its optimum temperature for coffee. When this is reached the water passes through the ground coffee at the correct bar pressure. They usually include a tool for steaming milk so can be used for lattes and cappuccinos.

    • Often used in home situations; Takes time to make and can be messy. Requires a skilled operator to allow for consistency.  Would require an expensive grinder to duplicate freshness of ‘bean to cup’ systems

    In Conclusion…Did you know

    • Coffee is the #1 consumed beverage in the world and the #1 drink in the workplace
    • Gourmet coffee…continues to be the fastest growing sector of the food and beverage industry
    • The JBC Collection takes orders and generates sales in your absence
    • You can work full or part time and work flexible hours with excellent tax advantages

Thanks to you and the JBC Collection, people can now get the same quality coffees right in their workplace at a fraction of the price they pay outside of the office.
